Coming down from my episodes has always felt rough....but this is something else.

(she takes the smoothie, taking a long drink before blurting out:)

You know it's okay to be mad at me, right?

I do. But I'm not. This isn't me pretending I'm okay and stuffing it down, I'm really not mad, Lizzie. I swear.

[She's more concerned than anything else. She knows that some of that was residual from their last fight about the sand clock, but she has to wonder how much Lizzie has been burying, trying to pretend she was fine.]

Right now, I'm more worried about you.

You should be. I attacked you.

(and sure, the blood helped trigger the episode, and the severity, but the feelings were real, and have been for a while. lizzie has tried to push them down, thinking if she was on her best behavior they could somehow escape their fates.)

And I'm....well I've been better, but like you said, the angel blood hangover is real.

Yeah, but you also didn't say anything that wasn't true.

[It makes sense that Lizzie would be feeling torn at the seams, walking on eggshells. Josie's been feeling the strain herself, trapped in decision that she hasn't made yet and not knowing how to move forward without a resolution.]

Except ... do you really wish that I had broken it?

Sometimes? (which she gets....sounds weird.)

It feels like we're just delaying the inevitable. And even though everyone says it might not happen the same way....I can't seem to find a way out of it. It's exhausting, trying.

I know what you mean.

[She's tired too. And sometimes she thinks that maybe it would be better to have the magic, in the face of things like what happened last night.]

It feels like we're just barreling towards a brick wall, and we can't avoid it.

And the fear is worse than the impact.

(at least if josie broke the sandclock they could start moving forward.)

[She nods, before taking a deep breath.]

Living in the middle isn't really working, is it?

No.

(she reaches out to take her sister's hand, squeezing it lightly.)

And I think we're not doing ourselves or each other favors by pretending like it is.

[Josie nods because as much as she is uncertain, she's not sure there's another way out. She squeezes Lizzie's hand in return, but before she makes any decision she wants to make sure that she and her sister are on the same page.]

Are you sure? There's still a chance we could find another way.

I'm tired of waiting for a miracle.

(and they have other resources...maybe there will be a way to save josie from the dark magic before she dies, but at least they'll have it be their decision.)

[Josie nods, and she likes the feel of that being her decision. Taking back the consequences she had been trying to avoid in the first place. It'll be messy, and she's not sure what she might do, but it feels better than hiding in fear of herself.]

Should we tell everyone?

[She feels like the adults, at the very least, would try to talk them out of it.]

I don't know if we should tell anyone. The adults would try to stop us, Landon isn't exactly a good secret keeper, and Rafael isn't going to hide something from Landon.

(and it's weirdly nice to think of doing this together, when it's driven such a wedge between them)

Yeah. Especially since Landon is the one who's lived through the most of all this.

[She doesn't know how she would explain to him that she's going to do the one thing they've been trying to avoid.]

And we'd have to find it. Jon didn't tell me where it was for a reason.

Landon did mention a way to safe guard me, but I'm not sure if it's worth risking him spilling.

(maybe they could find a spell that kept him from spreading their secret? hmm.)

So we'll need a distraction

Definitely. Jon ... will not think it's a good idea.

[For very good reason, but that's not the point. He is an obstacle in the way of the plan, so they need to find a way around him.]

Maybe we can distract both him and Elena together?

[Since they're together that should be easy enough.]

(lizzie claps her hands together, a little too excited about this part of the plan. lizzie please.)

[Oooh that is an excellent plan.]

What about Mom? We may need to be prepared in case of her wanting unexpected twin time.

[Caroline is the type to try and make up for lost time. They might need two distractions.]

Hmm. Mom might be the tougher solution.

(they'll have to come up with something good.)

I wonder if Jon has hot friends....

Or maybe a friend she's already made?

[There are lots of hot people in Hell. Sadly Klaus is gone, he cannot help them. Not that he would if he knew what was really happening.]

We'll figure it out.

We can figure out her friends and roommates -- see if there are any good potentials.

(screen them, so to speak.)

[Josie nods in agreement.]

It probably about time we show up and introduce ourselves to her roommates at the very least.

Exactly. You can bake cookies! I can...try not to get in the way too much. (josie is much better at baking than she is.)

[She grins at her sister before tipping her head to the side.]

Is it weird that this might be kind of fun?

[It feels like this isn't sort of thing that should be fun, but she's looking forward to her and Lizzie doing it together. They haven't really had a good twin adventure in a while.]

It probably should be...less fun sounding.

(but whoops, it isn't. they've been walking on eggshells together for so long....it feels nice to be a team again and some of this sounds kind of fun....even if it probably shouldn't.)
