[His head rolls back a little, eyes half-lidded. His hand even trembles a little, but he doesn't pull back, doesn't ask her to stop, or even use the safe word.]

Uh. Well, I like to think I'm human. But, uh, I'm sort of an angel.

Never met an angel before.

[But it makes sense, based on the power that she can feel rolling off him.]

So those wings aren't just for show?

There's not many of us in Hell. I met a whole bunch of them back home. Dicks, most of them.

No. [Setsuna shakes his head.] I actually have six of them, but these two are stuck.

For some reason, that doesn't surprise me.

[She feels like angels would probably be uptight dicks, especially from her world. Nothing nice is ever nice.]

They're nice, though. Pretty.

[Her free hand reaches up and brushes gently along the edges of his wings.]

Probably they already sound self-righteous in the Bible. And they did turn into demons. [Setsuna doesn't mind trashing angels, not in the slightest. Except for one he met in Hell.]

[His wings shudder a little under Josie's touch, but he lets out a pleasurable sigh, eyes closing for a second. He definitely isn't going to stop her.] They're really sensitive, too.

Do you mind if I ...

[Her voice trails off because how to phrase it. The fire on her fingers flickers out as her focus is drawn elsewhere.]

The kind of witch I am, I have to draw power from other things. Can I ... I've never borrowed magic from an angel before?

[And she's curious.]

It won't hurt you.

[Even though that's kind of the point of what they're doing.]

[His wings push up a little, feathers fluffing out, looking bigger.]

Uh, how would that work?

I don't think I've let anyone just take magic from me, before. Like that.

[He's not against it. He's just not sure, yet.]

[She's never really had to explain it before.]

Where I'm from, all supernatural creatures have their own inherent magic. Only witches can channel it into spells, but if they need an extra power boost, they can borrow from a vampire or a werewolf to augment their own power. It doesn't affect them really, and the magic replenishes itself on it's own.

[He's not sure that answers his question, but it doesn't sound easy to answer, when she explains that much, at least.]

Okay. Go for it. Tell me what angel energy does for you.

[Josie grins before reaching forward and placing a hand on his arm gently. She closes her eyes, and her hands take on a red glow as she draws that angelic energy into her well of magic. Setsuna likely doesn't feel much, maybe a slight tug on the core of his power, but it stops almost as soon as it appears.

She doesn't have to take much to feel the effects.

Her eyes widen as the rush overtakes her, and she can't help the slight giggle as the high settles.]

Wow. That is a rush.

[She might be a little distracted from the task at hand now, sorry Sets.]

[While it's healing, his arm still feels a little raw, and he's still high on the effects. He barely feels a tug on his energy, and gives a light moan.]

It is? Does it feel different from taking other magic?

[He didn't mind, for now, that Josie was otherwise occupied.]

Yeah, it's like ...

[How to explain it?]

It's concentrated? Something super potent and gives you a bit of a buzz.

You don't normally get a buzz?

[He can't help the curiosity.] Angel magic is like booze?

Mmmm-mmm.

[She shakes her head as another smile crosses her face.]

Angel magic is like ... super caffeine.

Sooo...an energy drink.

[Yeah, that should freak him out, normally would, but he gives Josie a sly smile, instead.]

Mmmm-hmmm.

[She flashes him a grin.]

It feels good. But probably not something that should be done often.

[It's not exactly lending itself to her staying in control. Still, she raises her hands and with a small flash, she'll cast a spell that easily fills the room with glowing lights that float around the room.

Why not? [Not like he wants to be drained, or is willing to be, but Setsuna is honestly curious.]

Oh, wow. That's awesome! [He looks around the room at the lights.] I can kinda do something like that. Just not that much!

Because magic is weird but it can totally be addictive.

[And she could definitely see how this kind of power would be addictive in the long term.]

And I kind of have a history of getting into magic I'm not supposed to.

Huh. [Setsuna just looks around them, dumbfounded for a bit. He hadn't really considered that. He doesn't typically consider much.]

And here I hated the whole power and magic thing and just wanna be normal again.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised you get into stuff you shouldn't. We're doing this pain thing, and we barely know each other.

Yeah, been there.

[Not a part of herself that she enjoys, but at least she admits that she has a problem.]

But I've learned that you can't just put that part of yourself away. You are what you are, so eventually you gotta learn to deal with it.

[Though she smirks at the last part.]

What can I say? I'm the curious type.

[Uncomfortable, his wings fluff up to that. Have to deal with it? But he's not going to be an angel forever, right?]

Yeah, I know that. Just...this power was supposed to burn out. Then I ended up here.

[He chuckles a little.] Me, too. I can't help it.

[She raises an eyebrow curiously, before turning to face him more.]

Do you want to get rid of it while you're still here?

[Hell can be a dangerous place, and it doesn't make sense to her that he would want to give it up now. But if he really does want it gone...she and Lizzie might be an option.]

No. [He answers quickly, without a thought.] I wouldn't be able to protect any of the people I care about without it.

Not here.

Okay.

[That's the answer she was expecting, but she thought it was worth asking just in case.]

If you change your mind, though, maybe my sister and I can help.

[Not that she should be volunteering Lizzie for anything, but what are siphons for if not to get rid of unwanted magic.]

[His eyebrows dip together.]

That's really nice of you. I'll remember, if I change my mind.

I don't think so, though. Not while things keep going wrong.
